How Taste Of Brasil Started
Who is Chef Mama Rio?
Taste Of Brasil is a brazilian restaurant concept that was founded by Juan Galarza, MBA and Margo Ferreira (Chef Mama Rio), who brought the flavors of Rio De Janeiro to Honolulu. After moving to the US and graduating college, it was Margo's dream to show her family home-cooking to the world. With the support of her boyfriend and her kids, three years later, Margo's dream came true!
Our mission is to deliver authentic Brazilian cuisine that warms the heart and delights the palate. We want to keep adding to our brazilian steakhouse menu. We welcome your input and requests, as long as we get to continue to make our food with Love!

Each Plate Comes With 2 Scoops of Jasmin Rice and 2 Sides of Your Choice
This plate has a bold and safisfying taste of Brasil in every bite! Picanha is a fresh cut of steak that's especially popular and highly prized in Brazil. In the US, it's called sirloin cap. This cut holds very little fat in the meat, so it must be cooked perfectly in order not to make it tough. Served with jasmine rice , a side of rich, slow-simmered Brazilian black beans and finished with fresh tomato, cilantro and onion vinaigrette, that adds the perfect zesty kick.
Our juicy grilled chicken thighs gets marinated "Brasilian Style" and cooked to order fresh daily. Served over jasmine rice and paired with lentils and a side of tasty macaroni salad which adds the perfect zesty kick. (or you can choose your own two sides from our menu).
